
Colonel Felix Alaita (Rtd)
Felix Orevoghene Alaita is a retired Army Colonel with 3 decades plus of extensive military and governance experience in Nigeria. He offers a unique perspective on Africa's developmental challenges. Post-military career, He served as a Senior Special Assistant to the President of Nigeria, focusing on Country Risk Assessment and Evaluation. Alaita played a significant role in passing Nigeria's first-ever Startup Act and led the development of the Creative Industries Development Bill in Nigeria which was instrumental in the founding of the Federal Ministry of Art, Culture and the Creative Economy. He actively speaks on public policy and strategy, within the creative, tech, and military sectors at various continental platforms such as AFREXIMBANK’s IATF/CANEX, Africa Tech Festival, AU/APRM, Africa Startup Conference, WPP’s Stream Africa, AfIELN, and more. He is the founder and CEO of Kryterion Limited, a Strategy Development and Advisory company. He is a committed pan-Africanist pushing for the Africa we demand.
